HOW DO I JOIN THE ASSOCIATION?

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Mixed Harmony Barbershop Quartet Association (MHBQA or "Mixed Harmony Assoc"), you may obtain more information by sending your SNAIL MAIL ADDRESS to the Association Coordinator, Kim Orloff, at korloff@ix.netcom.com You will be sent an initial packet of information along with an application form.

Dues are for a CALENDAR YEAR, whether you join at the beginning of the year or during that year. Whenever you join, you will be sent the back issues of newsletters plus any music or handouts that have already gone out in that calendar year. Dues are used for postage, photocopying, and printing, as well as for the occasional copyright fee for an arrangement that is not in public domain and is included with the newsletter. Dues notices are sent with the first newsletter of each new calendar year. Dues (in U.S. Funds) are currently:

$20 per quartet or individual for mailing addresses in the U.S.A.
$22 per quartet or individual for mailing addresses in Canada or Mexico
$25 per quartet or individual for overseas mailing addresses

If you just can't wait to receive full membership, and want to join now, mail the following information plus your dues for the year (U.S. cash, or checks in U.S. funds made out to MHBQA) to the address below. You'll be added to the roster, receiving a member list with contact info, plus all newsletters, arrangements & handouts already sent this year.
